PREPARATIONS

Today we took the bikes to the bike shop on 86th Street in New York City where we bought them earlier this summer. They are going to box them for us to pick up on our way to the airport on Friday.

John is spending the afternoon continuing to map our route, following instructions contained in the Cycle Touring Club in England B and B little lanes route.  We joined the Touring Club, since it is a fount of knowledge about LeJog [ Land's End John O'Groats ].

                       Apparently he is in Gloucestershire and most of the hills are behind us??????
